What a difference a week can make, from rags to riches. On Wednesday at our Teacher Appreciation Night and first ever college and high school duals event sponsored by Hi Country Chevrolet, it was not only packed with fans but lots of action. NMHU beat Otero College 47-6 and Aztec beat the 2 X defending 5A State Champions Farmington High School by a dominating score of 46-24. Then on Friday during our Military Appreciation Night, along with the JROTC we unveiled the huge American Flag for the first time in Lillywhite Gym, a sight to see. We then went on to dominate Monticello 43-21, bringing our dual record to 10-2 for the season. Over the weekend, our girls went to Moriarity for a tournament and placed 9th out of 22 teams. Our JV boys were 3rd out of 10 teams and the Varsity boys won the always tough Rocky Mountain Invitational in Pagosa Springs, beating 15 other teams.
